Sunday with Sonya

Good evening Lovelies, 

If you don't know, I'm the youngest in my family and want to take a moment to say Happy Birthday Tami, my awesomeness big sister. I hope she's enjoying her day.

Now about me, lol. This morning I woke up with the idea of getting my bedroom and closet together. I know I talk about this often but I am making progress. Friday I ordered the slim velvet hangers so I will transition all my clothes to them during this week. I'm excited for them to arrive because I ordered the hangers with a spot for accessories so I will be hanging up my scarves as well.

Okay back to today. I woke up motivated to find something for my room. You truly have to have a vision to move forward. So anyway, I looked at comforter sets and wallpaper. I am so excited now. I am giving myself until Mid-July to complete everything. My birthday is July 1st so hopefully my gifts will be labor to help me complete my room, lbvs (laughing but very serious).

Memorial Day - Motivational Monday

Good evening Lovelies,

I hope everyone enjoyed Memorial Day. Mines was okay considering my power went out for about 5-6 hours. I'm glad it's back on now. I spent the time working on my electronic vision board. I'm proud of my goals and want to share my board. You probably can't see all the pictures so I added the individual ones (plus I have some additional pictures I want to share.)

TGIF...Moving All Around

Good evening Lovelies,

I've had a busy week. We moved into our renovated area at work today so I've basically been packing all week. Last night I was exhausted, I think I left work around 9 pm.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, my cousins are renewing their vows. I can't wait to celebrate with them.

I'm still taking my vitamins. I haven't starting walking yet but I'll start Sunday, fresh week.

Motivational Monday: I'm Ready

Good evening Lovelies,

Yesterday I shared that I'm trying new things. I am so happy to report that I've had a great first day. I didn't do everything I had planned but I accomplished enough to show I'm moving forward.

I woke up and actually dressed a little cute for work. I'm still working on becoming a fashionista. Some days are better than others. I find it easy to revert to my carefree ways. I should have posted my outfit of the day except I didn't wear makeup or accessories today.

I did take all my vitamins. I don't feel different but I don't expect to either. I drunk my gallon of water too. That was easier than I thought. I even cooked breakfast: scrambled eggs with salsa and guacamole. That was delicious and I'm looking forward to breakfast tomorrow.

I set a goal of 200 YouTube subscribers by the end of the week and I'm happy to report I'm over half way there. Btw, if you haven't subscribed, please take a few minutes to show support and subscribe to Ruby Rules.

I also filmed a little this morning. I will continue to try and film a little a day. I'm looking forward to sharing my news and thoughts. I also plan to start two different categories on YouTube. (I will continue to post the videos here so no worries, it would be great if you made this site a daily stop.)

Happy Sunday...May Accountability Starts NOW!!!

Good evening Lovelies,

I hope you enjoyed your day and ready for this wonderful week. I'm happy which is always great. I'm making this Sharing Sunday so let me get to sharing.

1. I want glowing, healthy hair, skin, and nails. Today while shopping I purchased vitamins. I will be taking 2 hair, skin and nail vitamins and 2 women's multi vitamins with calcium. I will do a hair check tomorrow and post.

2. I vow to drink more water. I'm going to try and drink a gallon a day (more if I work out).

3. I purchased a new face wash so I'm excited to see how that will work on my skin with all my other changes.

4. I am taking the Accountability challenge which begins tomorrow. It's 30 days and I will accomplish my goal. If you are on Facebook, join the group "The Ironclad Lady". I'm going to be a #goaldigger for a month.

5. I have a lot that I want to share but not always enough for an interesting post, I'm going to try vlogging for the rest of May. Please leave your comments and let me know what you are interested in hearing about.
