Celebration Sunday

Good evening Lovelies,

I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday. I had a great day. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. First, I'm celebrating my life, my family's lives, my friends' lives. I'm glad I was able to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday with her, along with my family. I'm glad that I was able to drive to church, to hear God's word, his instructions today. I'm glad I celebrated my Godson's 6th birthday today. All in all, I'm thankful and feeling quite blessed I have myself and many around me to celebrate.

It's Makeover Monday

It's Makeover Monday...today the makeover is different. It's not much of a makeover but move of a couple changes. This morning I made two minor changes to the blog. I say minor but they're actually major to me.

I hope you had a great Sunday. I had an awesome day with the exception of my back hurting. I spent the day moving my stuff from my old house to the new one. (Mind you, I've been in the new house going on three years.) the best part of moving my final things is that I can close the chapter on the old house.

If you're a shopper like me this may be challenging but I hope you're having fun and really being creative and truly embracing this challenge. Remember this has a purpose, to find what you have, use what you have, and be thankful for what you have.

I'm thankful for nice coworkers, that my work family is like my extended family. I love discussing my hobbies with them and receive encouragement. I appreciate my coworker for building my nail polish holder (pictures coming soon). Overall I'm thankful that I can call and consider them friends, that's truly a blessing.

My Thoughts Thursday

Good evening Lovelies,

 

I'm late with this post tonight but I felt like someone rained on my parade today, not to mention it was actually raining. I didn't let my smile be my umbrella either. So after a tiresome day, I did my norm and called Kayla. She definitely was my sunshine. We talked in the car and a good portion of the evening and as usual, I feel great. I don't want to ramble but I would like to advise you, please have people in your corner that can lift you up, be your sunshine, and make you smile.

 

By the way, remember it's Buy Nothing New November and I hope you're "Shopping Your Stash" and finding / reinventing some awesome outfits.

No Spending Sunday

Good evening Lovelies,

Did you remember to "fall back" this morning?

I hope you had an awesome day and decided to join us on our challenge. Was this a spending Sunday or did you use the day prepping to "Shop Your Closet" for the month?

I didn't spend money this weekend and I'm proud. I have a habit of buying accessories but I did not purchase anything this weekend so I'm off to a great start.

In addition to not spending, each day I would like to share what I'm thankful for...I'm thankful for my family, that we pretty much spent the day together on the couch. I will admit most of the time my son was sleep and I was doing off and on but it was still nice because we're together.

November Challenge ~ Shop Your Closet

Good day Lovelies, Kayla and I decided to come up with a fun challenge during one of our many daily calls. We have done so much shopping lately however we realized we really don't wear what we buy. We are saving some items because we need a shirt, or shoes, or even tights to pull off our amazing outfit we envision. We also discussed how thankful we are for all our blessings. We decided to show our thankfulness in honor of Thanksgiving and we challenge you to do the same. We will not purchase any new items in November instead we are shopping our closets.
