I hope you had an awesome day and decided to join us on our challenge. Was this a spending Sunday or did you use the day prepping to "Shop Your Closet" for the month?
I didn't spend money this weekend and I'm proud. I have a habit of buying accessories but I did not purchase anything this weekend so I'm off to a great start.
In addition to not spending, each day I would like to share what I'm thankful for...I'm thankful for my family, that we pretty much spent the day together on the couch. I will admit most of the time my son was sleep and I was doing off and on but it was still nice because we're together.

Good day Lovelies, Kayla and I decided to come up with a fun challenge during one of our many daily calls. We have done so much shopping lately however we realized we really don't wear what we buy. We are saving some items because we need a shirt, or shoes, or even tights to pull off our amazing outfit we envision. We also discussed how thankful we are for all our blessings. We decided to show our thankfulness in honor of Thanksgiving and we challenge you to do the same. We will not purchase any new items in November instead we are shopping our closets.
Disclaimer: we know Black Friday is coming so consider that your free weekend, lol.

I had a fun, busy, amazing Sunday. Yesterday was my annual BooBQue (Halloween party) and I enjoyed myself. I didn't take many pictures yesterday but I hope someone did and will post or send them so I can share.

...well I thought I would answer questions about me however I could not find any online. I did find relationship and interview questions but none to help me with personal questions. I'm always thinking "on my feet" so I'll just share some random facts about me.

Well I think that's enough about me now. I can't forget I've added a couple of pictures from playing in my make up last night. I tried contouring and wore black lipstick. (Sidenote: I'm glad Halloween is close so I can experiment and if I look weird I'll say it's my costume, lol)
Good Afternoon Lovelies……
This blog post will be quick…..yeah, I know what you’re thinking. “Where the heck has she been”. Well, it has been a hectic year for me so expect for me to be “coming” and “going” until I can get my groove back. I HAD to drop in to post about was my new obsession….THE PUPPY CAM!!! I was listening to talk radio and a spot came on about the importance of adopting pets versus Pet Store animal purchases and the commercial featured animals at the Washington Animal Rescue League; a great organization where you can go to adopt your next pet. I was immediately intrigued. We lost our beloved dog of 8 years, Mugsy, this summer and it was a devastating loss that came on the heels of a devastating year. When I logged on I was immediately inundated with waging tails and cute little noses pressed against the camera. That was it, I was hooked. I have been monitoring these little cutie pies for the last 3 days and I must say, I have become attached. I know that my husband isn’t quite ready to jump on the puppy bandwagon quite this soon. He really wants to wait until the spring when he can take the necessary time to potty train when the weather isn’t crazy cold. I must agree but these little guys have totally stolen my heart which is why I think that the Puppy Cam notion is a stroke of genius. Anyone that clicks on that button and enters that space cannot help but want not just a dog… but THAT dog. I must say marketing at its finest. Bravo Washington Animal Rescue League!!! I applaud your creativity and I am certain that any dog lucky enough to be rescued by your organization has an amazing shot at a great adoptive life. Those that are in the Washington, DC area and are in the market for a new family member, please go check out the Washington animal rescue league at warl.org. And be sure to take a peek into the Puppy Cam, you won’t be sorry….Oh yeah, for those Kitty lovers out there, there is also a kitty cam….I know, right J

Good Afternoon...
I hope you're having a wonderful day. I wish I could say my day is great but I'm having a "feeling some type of day." If you've never heard the expression, I'll explain.
Have you ever had a day where you were not happy or sad?
I'm having that day. I'm not sad or upset, or happy, or enthused. As I sit here eating my lunch, a grilled chicken salad that's usually my favorite Monday lunch, I'm feeling emotionless.
Maybe I have a case of Monday, lol, I don't know what that mean, and I actually just chuckled because I always hear the term but just realized I don't know what it means. (I just tried to Google it but couldn't get a connection so I will post what it means later.)
A couple things in the works:
We are going to plan a couple giveaways for our subscribers for the remainder of the year. (shameless plug for you to subscribe here.)
We will post a December challenge.
We will also have a "Who Wore it Best" and you're the judge.
Shopping our closets will probably happen on month. (Hopefully I can get Kayla on board for November but it may be December or maybe we will begin the year off.)
speaking of closets, I know I owe pictures of how I transitioned my room into a closet, pictures coming soon, actually before the weekend.
