It's Ruby's Birthday...

Well that's Mother, Aunt, Sister and Friend to many but to Kayla and me, it's Happy Birthday Grandma!!!

Good afternoon Lovelies,

In case you didn't know, Ruby Rules is in honor of our Grandmother. Grandma Ruby was the best grandmother anyone could ever wish for. She was a "Jane of all Trades", awesome cook and baker, very kind and giving, excellent storyteller, great talker, family historian, never met a stranger, creative...well we hope you get the picture because her list is truly endless. The day she left us was sad however she left us with so much information, knowledge, stories, anecdotes that we're still reflecting on her words and advice.
As a birthday present we updated the blog. Also, we have more changes in the works so subscribe, stay awhile and visit often to enjoy this ride.

It has been too many years since your body left us. I know spiritually you will always be here. I still smile when I think and speak of you. I learned from you while you were living and since you've been gone. I'll never forget the stories you shared, your cooking /baking and your kindness you showed. You were an awesome Grandmother, the best...I can sum up how I feel about you in two words...Ruby RULES!!!

I love you, continue to rest in paradise.
