I'm enjoying the weekly challenges. Last week was fun but I'm loving this week. I have to edit my Tuesday video so I'm going to drop off the pictures of my #ootd and get to editing.
Since last week was so awesome, this week's challenge is crop / capris. I have to cue you in that I didn't discuss this with Kayla so she may not participate until Wednesday.
So yes, I did complete the White Challenge on Friday but after work, I went to check out the new Straight Outta Compton movie and totally bailed on taking my pics when I got home (the movie, however was a hit. LOL!) So to make it up to you and myself, I did do white on Saturday. I met up with my girlfriends to celebrate a Birthday and decided to keep the white theme rolling. I decided on a white knit top that I picked up from one of the many Lord and Taylor sales that I take part in. My black Joe's skinny jeans and some fantastic white, pointed toe flats that I saw on ASOS and fell in LOVE with. I had a ball doing this challenge as we wind down on summer and looking forward to the fall and all of the fabulous fall weather challenges that we will undoubtadly take part in. Happy Sunday and have a great week next week!!
TGIF!!! Today is bittersweet, glad it's the end of the week but sad the challenge is coming to an end. I am so sleepy that I'm falling asleep while I type. Without anymore delay, here's Friday's #ootd.
Today was Day 4 of the Ruby Rules White Challenge and I decided on a lavender midi pencil dress that I picked up from Zara a few weeks ago. I loved the color and I surprisingly don't own many dresses. I prefer skirts but have vowed to improve my selection of dresses. I paired it with my essential summer show, my white Sam Edelman pump. Tomorrow is the final day of the challenge; even if you've not participated before now, you can still join us for the final Friday push. Remember to tag us using #RRwhitechallenge. Have a wonderful evening.
Here is my Wednesday white outfit. I decided to pair a white pencil skirt that has cute, simple zipper detail. I picked it up from JC Penney last summer and never got around to wearing it until now. The zippers have black backing which made it an easy decision to do black and white. I paired it with a black cami blouse from J. Crew. My Jimmy Choo's made their debut with this outfit and they fit perfectly. To stay with the theme, I wore a white Marc Jacobs watch and a long chain with a simple black ball. As always, I never leave home without a blazer, and with this outfit, I chose a simple black one. Be sure to tag us on any of our social media platforms if you want to take part in this weeks challenge. #RRwhitechallenge.
