2015 Gospel Playlist

Good evening Lovelies,

It's Sunday and as I mentioned last week, I have compiled my gospel playlist. A lot of the songs are dated. I have listened to this songs and passed them along. They touch me, they minister to me, they can make me feel good and also bring me to tears. Music definitely touches and motivates me and he are my songs. I hope they move you, that you sing along, and that you share this post.

Living on Purpose

Stand for something or you'll fall for anything. Good evening Lovies, I briefly discussed my plans yesterday and today I just wanted update you and let you know where I am.  I have research online vision board and came back tò Pinterest. (I will share once it's complete.) I'm in the process of researching and deciding (with purpose) what I'm working for and looking to gain this year. I know I want to look back and know 2015 had purpose, that I had a purpose.  I hope you're having a great evening,    

2015: Living on Purpose

Consider the purpose before acting (or reacting).
Good morning Lovelies,
Last night I fell asleep in the process of creating my 2015 vision board on Pinterest. I wasn't feeling the layout or the content. I woke up with it on my mind so I searched for better format / layout. I didn't find one yet (and most likely will keep the one on Pinterest) but I came across an awesome site. I think it's www.HappyBlackWoman.com, I will let you know if that's correct later. 
Anyways, she had a post of her top 10 motivational songs and I immediately thought that I would post my playlist today. Now, I've decided against it for today but I think I will post that on Sunday.
After coming up with and thinking about my motto, "consider the purpose before acting or reacting" I will post my ideas. However that will have to come later today.

Update...Christmas Break

Good evening Lovelies,

It's one of the best times of the year. I enjoy the time spent surrounded by family and friends. Christmas was spent at my mother's, Friday I rested, yesterday I am enjoying time with friends for game night (I did okay...I guess I have to get used of not winning all the time...lol, I never really win.) Today, two of my Godbabies came over shop I've had the whole day entertaining and playing with them.

I'm truly thankful and blessed that I can spend times with others.

Yes, that's right...it countdown has begun. I'm truly excited for 2015, for all the new things that this blog will accomplish. I'm looking forward to all I will accomplish.

I begin listening to Christmas song as soon as November. I love most songs and look forward to this time of year. My favorite cd's are The Temptations and Christina Aguilera's. This Christmas is my favorite this year although I love a good Silent Night, The First Noel, and O Come All Ye Faithful.

Christmas Countdown: 5 Days

We are only 5 days away from Christmas. I finally attempted to shop for gifts and was minimally successful. I managed to really only get 2 gifts. I only have about 15 more to buy and wrap.

Two Cousins, Cut from the Same Cloth

We are 2 days always from Kayla's 40th birthday. I decided I would share a few pictures and a couple of facts.

Fact 1: No matter what's going on, we will always support and be there for one another. We have the family love that doesn't go away.

Talkative Tuesday: Three Days Away

Kayla's Fabulous 40...

...is just 4 looooooooog days away.
Good evening Lovelies,
We are four days away from Kayla's special day.
Today I think I will share 4 of my favorite memories.
1. First memories: being on UWF campus with her (our nicknames ended in "tho", Kayla was Kitho and I was Metho, lol) not a long story but we would pass out surveys to people on campus. It was funny, totally off the wall, typical college kids surveys. Btw Kayla, I still have the surveys lol.
2. Kayla coming to Detroit. She was between 14 - 16 years old and we had a ball hanging out downtown. I think we are always up from a challenge because we were challenging each other left and right.
3. Our Cousin Tiffany's bridal shower weekend: we had a ball. Not only was Tiffany's shower a lot of fun, we had fun. That's the weekend, we got matching tattoos. That was truly a fun-filled celebratory weekend.
4. Planning Kayla's wedding: All I want to say is TRAVEL PLEASE! Kayla lived in Atlanta, I was in Detroit, Hubby 2B in DC, and wedding in Florida. Almost every weekend for 2 months I was either flying to Atlanta, DC or Pensacola. We did so much planning (and partying). It was truly a great time that I was able to share in Kayla's special time.
Those are four of my favorites although we have many more...
